New technology enables textile designers to add a glow in the dark.
Thanks to Glow Yarns a luminous filament yarn, which is developed by mixing, melting and extruding polyester chips with photo-luminescent pigments (that came from alkaline earth metals in different compounds).
The yarn automatically glows in the dark after absorbing sunlight or luminous light. The time of glow depends on the previous exposure to either sunlight or luminous light and of course of the quality of the yarn.
